Better oral health leads to better hemoglobin A1C and diabetes control, decreased risk of cardiovascular disease, reduced risk of stroke, improved kidney health and fewer COPD exacerbations. It can even reduce the risk of preterm labor.

Our new medical-dental integration program, Dental4Health®, offers an all-inclusive approach to patient care by pairing chronic medical conditions with Evidence-based Dental Benefits®. Members who have been diagnosed with one or more of the conditions listed below are eligible to receive additional dental benefits that have been shown to improve overall health. These services are covered at 100% (in network), with no out-of-pocket expenses or waiting periods, and do not count toward the annual maximum.
