Secondary EOB information

When submitting secondary claims, you do not need to provide an explanation of benefits (EOB) from the member’s primary insurance. Simply enter the allowed amounts and payments made by the primary insurance for each procedure code in the remarks section.

Additional information—such as the primary insurance EOB—may be required in some cases, but it’s not necessary for the initial claim submission. You’ll be advised if additional information is needed. It is important to ensure your contact information is current and that your dental network manager has your current contact information. You can also easily update your practice’s contact info on our Update your status page.
