The Sixth Annual MDI Symposium is set for September 23
July 15, 2026Registration for the Sixth Annual Medical‐dental Integration (MDI) Symposium is now open. The free virtual symposium is scheduled for September 23, noon–3 p.m. (MDT)/11 a.m.–2 p.m. (PDT). This year’s theme is “The Oral Inflammatory Burden: Clinical Implications Beyond the Mouth.” Symposium attendees will include dentists, dental hygienists, medical professionals and members of Federally Qualified Health Centers and nonprofit communities.
There is no cost to attend this continuing education program. All dental clinical staff can earn three CEUs.
The keynote speaker will be Matilde Hernández González, D.D.S., M.S., M.B.A., M.P.H., F.I.C.D., senior director of professional engagement and scientific affairs at Colgate-Palmolive. Dr. Hernandez’s presentation, “The Oral-Systemic Connection: From Evidence to Action in Practice,” will kick off an engaging program that will examine why inflammation matters across care settings and how a broader understanding can support more comprehensive health strategies.
